After being picked up from your hotel, start your tour at the Saint Nicholas church in Carcere, which was built over the ruins of a pagan temple. Then walk to the Portico d'Ottavia and Marcellus theatre ruins. Cross the oldest bridge of Rome, 2000 years old and still standing until you reach the Tiber Island.
Head to the underground house of Santa Cecilia. Marvel at the ancient mosaics, mysterious inscriptions, and an ornate crypt. Finally, visit the church of San Crisogono built over a huge underground house, where archaeologists found a large frescoed wall.
