Please be advised of the following regulations for entry into the Colosseum:
1. An unavoidable security check, including a metal detector, is required for entry. Kindly anticipate potential delays given circumstances beyond our control.
2. Normal-sized backpacks are permissible; however, large backpacks are not permitted.
3. Due to the presence of uneven surfaces, the tour is not advised for individuals with walking disabilities or those utilizing a wheelchair. Wheelchair access is not available.
4. A valid ID or driver's license copy must be presented for entry.
5. Visitors are encouraged to dress appropriately for the warm conditions within the Colosseum.
6. Please be sure to have your mobile devices fully charged for downloading the digital audioguide.
7. All customers are kindly asked to have at least 300MB of free space on their phones in order to use the audioguide.
8. Please notice this activity is not a guided tour.
Meet us at the Crown Tour Office on Via della Polveriera 8, located approximately 4 minutes away from the Colosseum. Make your way to the terrace above the “Colosseo” Metro Station. You'll find a pedestrian bridge to cross over. The office is located on the other side of the bridge, heading up the street for about 1 minute. You will find the purple Crown Tours flags outside our office.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
