Discover the spectacular landscapes of the Mount Vesuvius volcano on board a minibus. You’ll drive through the national park, and up to the top of the crater. Take in sweeping views of the Bay of Naples and visit the crater with your volcanologist guide.
On this 4-hour tour you’ll be picked up from a comfortable meeting point close to your accommodation in Naples for the transfer to Pompeii, where you’ll join the group at the meeting point.
From here you you’ll board an air-conditioned minibus that will take you through the national park to the top of Mount Vesuvius. Pine forests, lush woods, bright yellow flowers, and an uncanny volcanic landscape await on this spectacular drive, along with amazing views of the Bay of Naples.
Once you’ve reached the top a volcanologist (different languages available) will guide you along the crater. Take your time to enjoy the views before making your way back to the parking place, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to Naples.
