• Please note that the cathedral has a strict dress code. You may be refused entry if your shoulders and knees are not covered
• There are 463 steps to the top of the Dome and the climb is very steep and narrow in some places. There is no elevator available
• After the tour of the Dome, you will have to exit the cathedral. If you would like to revisit the cathedral after the tour, you will need to join the normal line. The entrance is free of charge
• It may be necessary to pass through the security check
• After the tour, please return your headset to the guide

You must keep social distance while in vehicles
You are required to bring and wear a mask
All participants who are 12 years and older must present a Reinforced Green Pass that is valid in the EU and has a verifiable QR code. Reinforced Green Passes can only be obtained by uploading either proof of full vaccination or proof of a Covid-19 infection within the last 6 months to either the Green Pass or Covid Certificate app
All participants must also bring a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. passport, driver's license, etc)
Please meet the private guide and collect your ticket at the City Florence Tours Office located at Via Dei Castellani 14 (or 18/red) and receive directions for your visit inside the complex of the Duomo.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
