Passage through the trazzere, where we can see the lava flow of 1792.
Direction Bove valley, ancient caldera formed about 64000 years ago by a collapse of two large eruptive centers.
We arrive at an altitude of 2000 asl,start our trek (about 1h.30m), where we admire the sylvan craters, the lava flows of the 2001/2003 eruption and a magnificent view of Catania.
Stop for about 30 minutes to have something to eat in the refreshment areas.
Return to the pick-up point.
