We are a local professional English-speaking private drivers . The ride on the crater of Vesuvius is a spettacular panorama of the Bay of Naples with its islands to see. Vesuvius is an active volcano in continental Europe as well as one of the most studied and dangerous in the world due to the high population and its explosive characteristics, the highest peak is 1,281 meters. You can reach the crater with a 20/25 minute climbing walk. The crater entrance is included with an internal volcano guide , (2h) stop . Pompeii and Herculaneum are a vast archaeological site, they are so large that you can easily get lost inside. Once a flourishing and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii and Herculaneum were buried under meters of ash and pumice by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. The site are constantly evolving thanks to the continuous excavations that offer new discoveries every year. A professional private guide inside, is highly recommended to be able to visit it better in detail and relax in it's most important structures. The guide is on request , will help you to skip the long lines at the ticket office as well , and is not included in the tour price.
On request it is also possible to have a 1 hour lunch break in a family house restaurant to taste a set Menu (all inclusive) with traditional local food, drinks, wine and desserts.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
