Admire Doge’s palace, the Clock Tower, and the Procuratie before continuing on to Campo Santa Maria Formosa, where you will learn the history of the SS. Giovanni e Paolo church and its famous Pantheon. Visit the Scuola Grande di San Marco, also knowns as “Great School of Charity”, from the outside before heading back to St. Mark’s to discover the Malibran Theatre. Step through the famous Mercerie, once the pulsing heart of commercial life in Venice, to explore the city's main shopping district between Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square.
The first part of the tour will end around 10:45 AM. After some free time, the tour will regroup to visit the Basilica at 12:00 PM. To avoid any delays, we kindly ask all guests to return to the meeting point at 11:45 AM.
Save time with skip-the-line access to the Basilica and marvel at the place where Eastern and Western architecture collide in a collection of golden mosaics and marble inlays.
