Discover another time and place by visiting the fascinating remains of the Imperial Roman "Domus" in this virtual experience.
Start your experience with a multimedia video which shows the past and the present of the most important monuments in Rome, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, St. Peter's Basilica, Castel St. Angel, Circus Maxiums and Ara Pacis. The video is shown inside the Touristation Office before you begin exploring the Domus.
Then, using a VR headset, admire the virtual reconstruction of rooms, walls, mosaics, peristyles, kitchens, baths, furnishings and decorations. Everything will come back to life during this virtual tour of the great Domus of Ancient Rome. The experience reveals an area that was of great importance in Roman times and helps piece together the ancient, medieval and modern parts of Rome.
You will also have the opportunity to observe how the area of Trajan's Column looked in olden times. A virtual reconstruction of the column gives you a close-up look at the bas-reliefs and the story they tell of the Trajan’s military campaign; the conquest of Dacia in present day Romania.

The Touristation Office is next to Piazza Venezia. When facing the Vittorio Emanuele II monument, it is on the right-hand side. Walk across the gardens and the bus stop. There is a small fountain just in front of the Touristation Office.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
