Learn how to make traditional local dishes with a domestic Italian cook. Following your cooking class, you can taste the recipes you prepared throughout an authentic 3-course dinner with your host.
Immerse yourself in the local gastronomic heritage and learn the art of Roman cuisine. You will enjoy the experience of cooking with a domestic cook who will take you into their home kitchen and will teach you how to make traditional local recipes.

You will begin by meeting your cook and introducing yourselves to each other, before then starting your cooking class by uncorking a bottle of local wine. You will then put your hands in the dough and learn how to make a typical Italian dish, which will be fresh homemade pasta with a local typical sauce.

Your cook will then show you how to prepare Italian tagliatelle, spaghetti, fettuccine, lasagna, gnocchi or ravioli with your hands. You will also prepare the seasoning for the sauce, such as ragout, fresh tomato sauce, mushroom sauce, or vegetable sauce, using seasonal fresh ingredients and following the recipes of traditional Italian cuisine.

Finally, you will sit down at the dining table together like a real Italian family, tasting what you prepared in a 3-course menu composed of: appetizers, a main course, and dessert. Your meal will also be accompanied by water, wine, and coffee.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
