Day 1: Akureyri
Start with a scenic drive north, visiting Borgarnes and Skagafjörður, known for Icelandic horses. Visit Glaumbær turf farm before reaching Akureyri. Optional bath at Forest Lagoon.
Day 2: Lake Mývatn
Explore Mývatn’s volcanic landscape, visiting Goðafoss, Dimmuborgir, and Grjótagjá. Afterward, visit the geothermal area of Námaskarð and Dettifoss Waterfall, then continue to Egilsstaðir.
