Our tour will start in the heart of city to visit the Sultan's Palace. A brief history of Yogyakarta Palace was founded in 1755 as a result of the Giyanti Agreement. Yogyakarta Palace is a cultural heritage building that has various spaces and functions. The shape of the building is influenced by European (Portuguese and Dutch) and Chinese models. The Yogyakarta Palace architecture was designed by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwana I who was also the founder of the Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat Palace. Learn about the rich history and royal architecture that is the city's icon.

After about an hour, we will continue to visit the Water Castle was built by Sultan Hamangku Buwono I in 1757. He created a new architectural style which was a mixture of Javanese and Portuguese.Water Castle was originally a beautiful and charming water park. This area is the guesthouse for the Sultan and his family. A tall building similar to a pool was built specifically to be used for bathing the Sultan and his family. Water Castle is also a place of refuge. Especially when the enemy attacked, the Sultan and his family escaped through an underground passage.

You can still find traces of relics from the ancient times, while admiring the beauty of the bathing complex and pools at the Taman Sari water palace as well as ending our tour. After everything is done, your friendly driver will take you back to your accommodation in Yogyakarta.
