Go on an amazing adventure using a jeep safari to explore Mount Merapi with a local guide to visit the Kaliadem bunker, the closest point to the peak of Merapi which is 4 km from the peak of Merapi, see large rocks that fell with lava avalanches during the 2010 eruption, the last eruption which was the biggest so far. see the museum where evidence from the 2010 eruption is still stored and study active volcanoes guided by a jeep driver who also becomes a local guide. Mount Merapi is the most active mountain in Indonesia at the moment.
The tour will start from being picked up at your accommodation, picked up by car and driven to the jeep base camp for around 40 minutes, after that you will ride a jeep safari and explore the beauty around Mount Merapi, explore natural villages and learn about active volcanoes with the jeep driver , the tour will run for around 90 minutes. After the tour is finished you will be taken back to your accommodation using a car waiting for you at the jeep basecamp.
