Join a sunrise or day trip to Dieng Plateau departing from Yogyakarta. Witness the golden sunrise from Sikunir Hill and marvel at nature's palette.
Following with pick-up from your hotel in Yogyakarta at midnight, then travel to Dieng Plateau. Hike to the top of Sikunir Hill, where on a clear day, you can see sunrise overlooking up to 8 volcanoes.
After sunrise, head to Batu Pandang Hill where you can see the ‘Colourful Lake’ from above. Next, visit Sikidang Crater, an open sulfur crater with angry bubbling mud and bellowing steam. It’s set among a bumpy and dusty landscape that will make you feel like you arrived on another planet. Not far from the crater, you will also visit the Arjuna Temple Complex which houses eight small Hindu temples that date back to the seventh century.
Once you have finished your tour, sit back and relax while your driver escorts you back to your accommodation in Yogyakarta.
