Join small-group Merbabu day hike from Yogyakarta. Witness the breathaking views from the top of Mount Merbabu on a hike up Java's most popular mountain.
Be picked up from your accommodation in Yogyakarta and take the approximate 2 hour journey to New Selo Village, located on the northern side of the volcano.
Then go through some preparations and start the climb. It will take approximately 3.5 hours to reach the summit, depending on your fitness level. Once you have reached the summit, enjoy the breathtaking views and landscape stretching as far as the eye can see.
Afterwards, trek back down to the starting point of the hiking basecamp and once you've reached the basecamp parking lot, meet your friendly driver then be ready for travelling back to your accommodation in Yogyakarta.
