The Qutub Minar is on everyone’s itinerary while visiting Delhi, so it is obviously not to be missed. It lies in the oldest continuously inhabitant area of Delhi and also known to be the first city of Delhi. The City Explorer® will meet you at the Qutub Minar ticket Counter. As we enter the complex we will first visit the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque. Founded by the first Delhi sultan, Qutbuddin Aibak, this grand mosque is known to be the first building in the Qutub Complex. Then the guests can view the iron pillar standing at the center of the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque. The Iron Pillar is undeniably among one of the most famous heritage attractions in Delhi and within the Qutub Complex. Then comes the Alai darwaza, which was later added by Alauddin Khilji and conceived to be the main gateway to the ambitious extension of Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque.
