Metros, buses and tuk-tuks!
This tour begins in Connaught Place. From there, we will venture to the nearby Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Sikh temple and witness how they are able to prepare lunch for up to 1000 people at a time. Next in our journey is a trip to the Presidential Palace complex to see the heart of India’s government and pay your respects at India Gate, Delhi’s war memorial.
We will hop into a tuk-tuk to head to Lodhi Gardens, a beautiful green park teeming with history. After a relaxing stroll in the park, we will grab lunch at the luxurious Khan Market, one of Asia’s most expensive shopping areas.
After lunch, we will visit the majesty of Humayun’s Tomb where you can get lost in its beauty. From here, we will head to Old Delhi to visit Jama Mosque, the epicentre of Delhi’s Muslim community and then head to the Mughal-era Red Fort which stands proudly in the heart of the city. A stroll through the markets leads us back to Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi’s main street. We’ll then get the metro back to Connaught Place where we started the tour.
