After a little briefing we start exploring the maze of alleys hiding ancient "Havelis" (bungalows) and famed "bazaars" of Old Delhi. All structures are at least 400 years old. Feel the Old Delhi vibe with a chance to see local life, markets and heritage. For a true Old Delhi experience also see beautifully maintained 200-year-old "Hindu Temple" in the heart of Delhi. Taste local delicacies while along the crazy crowds of local shoppers with a view of Old Delhi Monuments.
Soon we reach "Spice Market" to start our spice tails. Functioning Since "Mughal era" this largest Spice market of Asia is a bundle of many surprises. This medieval rustic market is busy with locals and tourists and the sound of multi lingual chatter. We soon enter one of the famous and old Spice depot / storehouse for a briefing about many famed Indian spices. You will be surprised to know that, in your home country how heavily you are paying for some of daily usage spices in your kitchen. Over here you can grab them at dirt cheap prices. Also if you want to grab more spices then ample time is given to you to know more from the expert and buy accordingly. While leaving, the smell of spices is something that your nostrils will never forget.
