Experience the breathtaking vistas of coconut palms and paddy fields while cruising the backwaters of Alappuzha, dubbed the "Venice of the East."
Day 1: You will be picked up at your hotel or from Cochin Port around 10:00 AM, and then you will travel to Alappuzha to board the houseboat at approximately 12:00. Once on board, the houseboat will take you on a leisurely cruise through Alappuzha's backwaters and hamlet, passing by coconut palms and paddy fields. You will have your main meals provided on board, and you will spend the night aboard the houseboat.
Day 2: The travel will end at approximately 9:00. After that, you'll make your way back to your hotel or Cochin Port, arriving around 11:00.

Please be aware that the houseboat trip will not include a tour guide. You will be picked up by the driver at the meeting spot and driven to the houseboat boarding location. The driver will return you to your accommodation the next day. There will be three crew members on the houseboat to take care of you. Since your primary focus is on seeing and enjoying Alappuzha's backwaters and village area, a tour guide is not required.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
