Jodhpur “The Sun City” is a city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs).
Pick up from hotel / pick up point to visit majestic Mehrangarh fort, the stronghold of the Rathore princes from 1453AD. We see the superb collection of paintings and arms and ammunitions. The view of the city from the rampart walls is breath taking. Other famous places to visit include Jaswant Thada a cenotaph of former ruler built in marble and Umaid Bhawan Palace, the present residence of the king of Jodhpur, Toorji’s stepwell, Phool Mahal, Ghanta Ghar and Sheesh Mahal.
