Meet your driver and local guide at your hotel lobby in the morning and proceed to an 18th-century Ganesh temple. The idol of Lord Ganesha, being the prime reason for fascination, is the center of attraction for visitors. Experience early morning offerings by locals before they go to work.
Visit the Birla temple, which is made of white marble and built on a raised platform. Its architectural style is considered to be modern.
Now proceed to the famous monkey temple, Galta Ji, for its heritage temple complex. Watch the rituals and customs on the sacred water tanks, and enjoy free time for photography.
Continue to the next temple, located on the top of a hill. Take a ropeway to reach the temple (approximately 10 minutes). Enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the forest and temple complex. After enjoying the breathtaking views, take the ropeway down and visit one of the oldest Hanuman temples.
Experience the Sikh temple (Gurudwara), admiring the religious ceremonies and communal kitchen. You can try your hand in the communal kitchen with other volunteers, which offers meals to hundreds of people from every religion, caste, and nationality each day.
