Known for its stunning architecture, the temple features a magnificent seven-story lamp tower, or Deepstambha, which is a sight to behold, especially during festivals. The serene ambiance and lush surroundings add to its charm.
Next, head to the Shree Shantadurga Temple, dedicated to the goddess Shantadurga, who is believed to be a mediator between Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. The temple's blend of Indo-Portuguese architecture is unique and visually striking. It stands out with its pyramid-shaped roof, Roman-arched windows, and a magnificent idol of the goddess.
Visit the Shri Ramnath Devsthan. Similar to other Goan Brahmin temples, Ramnathi too incorporates the system of Panchayatan, therefore, this temple houses 5 main deities namely - Shri Ramnath (chief deity), Shanteri, Kamakshi, Laxmi Narayan, Ganapati, Betal and Kalbhairav, along with other family purushas.
Continue to the mahalaxmi temple Apart from the presiding deity, Shree Saunsthan Mahalaxmi temple also has the deities of Shree Narayan Purushram, Shree Narayan Dev, Shree Rawalnath, and Shree Baleshwar. It was built in the year 1413, based on the stone placard carved during the rule of Nanjan Gosavi Pratihast over Goa.
Finally, head to the Shree Mahalsa Narayani Temple, located in Mardol, which is dedicated to the goddess Mahalsa Narayani, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple is renowned for its intricately carved wooden pillars and beautiful surroundings. It attracts numerous devotees and tourists, especially during the annual zatra festival.
