Day 1:
Begin your tour with a driver pickup from your hotel in Delhi at around 9 AM. Set off for Agra where you will embark on a 2-day adventure through the city. When you arrive in Agra, first, check-in the hotel and freshen up. Then, meet your guide and head over to your first destination - the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, also known as the Baby Taj. Admire this beautiful marble monument before taking a short lunch break at a multi-cuisine restaurant (at own expense).
After lunch, head over to the imposing Agra Fort, one of the most important Indo-Islamic architectural marvels. Continue the tour to your next stop, the Mehtab Garden. This gorgeous garden is also known as the Sunset Point and from here, witness the Taj Mahal changing its color to orange hue at sunset. Call it a day and get dropped off at your hotel for your overnight stay in Agra.
Day 2:
Start the next at around 6 AM when your driver will pick you up from your hotel. Set off for a Sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal. Follow your guide as you explore the iconic and incredible monument at dawn and witness the gorgeous facade changing its hue into pink. Visit the inside of the mausoleum and the mosque. Then, stroll around the Gardens of Paradise while clicking those Instagram-worthy shots.
After this, enjoy a full breakfast at your hotel before leaving for an excursion to Fatehpur Sikri - a perfectly preserved red-stone ghost town, which was the former capital of Mughal emperor Akbar. The town itself is an epitome of Indo-Islamic architecture and is a sight to witness. After exploring this stunning town and having lunch (at your own expense), head back to Delhi in an air-conditioned vehicle.
