Description

The Perfect Iceland Stopover! Relax at the Blue Lagoon, explore the marvels of the Golden Circle and the South Shore of Iceland, and wrap up your journey with the awe-inspiring whale watching tour.
This is a six-day adventure trip to Iceland, exploring Iceland's most iconic places.
Unwind at the Blue Lagoon, marvel at the wonders of the Golden Circle, explore the beauty of the South Shore, and try to sight whales at a whale watching tour.

From witnessing a geyser erupting every five minutes to experiencing the majestic golden waterfalls of Gullfoss, each day promises captivating moments. Absorb the glaciers, black beaches, and waterfalls along the picturesque Icelandic south coast. Our guides deliver insightful commentary in English or Scandinavian languages, ensuring an educational and enriching experience.

Day 1: Arrival in Iceland
You arrive in Iceland and travel independently from the airport to your hotel in Reykjavík (transfer not included).

Day 2: Blue Lagoon Tour
A Guided afternoon tour to the famous Blue Lagoon. The Lagoon is famous for its ethereal milky-blue waters. Remaining at 39°C all year round, the waters are rich in silica and minerals. Soak in the Lagoon, slather on a silica mud mask and enjoy the complimentary drink at the swim-up bar.

Day 3: The Golden Circle Tour
Starting from Reykjavik, the tour first visits Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its geological significance and historical importance as the site of Iceland's first parliament.
Next, the tour moves to the geothermal area in Haukadalur, home to the famous geysers, including Geysir and Strokkur. Strokkur, which erupts every few minutes, offers an exhilarating spectacle as it spouts boiling water up to 30 meters into the air.
The final major stop is the magnificent Gullfoss, or "Golden Falls," where visitors can marvel at the powerful glacial river plunging into a deep canyon, creating a stunning double waterfall.

Day 4: South Shore Tour
On this day, we will enjoy a ride along the south coast of Iceland. This coastal road offers views of glacier tongues, waterfalls, rugged hills, black sand beaches, and its famous volcanoes.
We travel to Seljalandsfoss Waterfall. You can walk behind the waterfall but dress well, as the water mist behind the waterfall can make you wet. Next, we admire the majestic Skógafoss Waterfall. Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is usually visible on sunny days.
Next, we stop by the black sand beach at Reynisfjara to view the geological formation and the smashing waves. Before heading back to Reykjavík, we visit Vík í Mýrdal, a seafront village that sits in the shadow of the Katla volcano.

Day 5: Whale Watching Tour
Explore the whales of Reykjavík under the excellent guidance of marine biologist guides and learn all about the incredible wildlife that call Iceland their home. The bay is even full of birdlife, from puffins and gannets to guillemots and more, that actively feed on the plentiful fish found in the bay.

Day 6: Goodbye Iceland
Departure Day. Travel independently from your hotel to the airport (transfer not included).
