Description

The Silfra Day Tour is Icelands' most popular dive tour where you will be diving in the famous Silfra fissure right between the American and the European continents. The Silfra fissure contains some of the clearest water on this planet (visibility 100m+).
At Silfra fissure, in National Park Thingvellir, your guide will walk with you to the platform and give you a dive briefing before gearing up. Since the water is between 2 and 4°C the dives are conducted in dry suits and therefore you must have dry suit experience. After the first dive you will have a coffee and cookie break before going for the second dive. The tour takes between 6 and 8 hours. All necessary equipment including undergarments that will keep you warm and comfortable underneath the dry suit are provided. Please bring warm clothes for the time on land and thick socks as well as your diving and dry suit certification card.
