Embark on a culinary adventure and master the art of cooking the Paella. Our team of native culinary experts and enthusiastic assistants are dedicated to making your cooking experience enjoyable, interactive, and utterly delightful. Discover the secrets of perfecting the paella as we guide you through every step.
We'll start our journey at the San Valero Parish door before heading to the vibrant Ruzafa market together. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere as we select the freshest ingredients needed for a delectable paella. Along the way, we'll regale you with the rich history of paella and share insights into the Valencian culture and traditions.
After a 8-minute walk we will arrive to the kitchen, where our skilled chef awaits with a tantalizing array of tapas paired with sangria, beer, and refreshing beverages. Get ready to be captivated as our chef unveils the paella preparation process, guiding you through each technique and secret. Once the paella masterpiece is complete, we'll gather to indulge in its sensational flavors. We will accompany the paella with a Valencian tomato salad, Valencia wines, seasonal fruit, typical Valencian sponge cake, sweet wine and coffee.
You can choose between 3 types of Paella (based on the option selected during booking):
- Authentic Paella: The original recipe born in the Valencian Community, the rice is the main ingredient, followed by chicken, rabbit and vegetables.
- Seafood Paella: This Paella recipe is more laborious and exquisite, needs a fish and vegetables previous broth, for its elaboration a sauté called "salmorreta" is prepared, before we add the seafood.
- Vegetable Paella: Made with seasonal vegetables founded in the vegetable fields of Valencia. It has no meat or fish at all and it is not necessary a previous broth "fumet" 100% Vegan
No need to be an experience chef to enjoy this workshop is the level of difficulty is low.
All are workshops includes:
- All ingredients to cook an authentic paella.
- Sangria, beer solft drinks, water, Valencian DO wine…
- Manchego cheese and ham welcome.
- Steamed mussels.
- Spanish omelette or spicy potatoes “patatas bravas”
- Olives
- Cazalla (aniseed brandy)
- Valencian salad with tomato.
- Dessert: seasonal fruit
- Coca de llanda (Typical Valencian sponge cake).
- Coffee and shot of mistela (=dry, very aromatic wine with a low alcohol content, ideal for desert)
