Make your way to Balos through a road from Kaliviani, a village close to Kissamos. Cross this 10km-long road by an air-conditioned Land Rover and then hike for 20 minutes.
See the spectacular Balos lagoon from the hills above the beach. Enjoy the white sand, soft seabed, and crystal clear water of Balos.
Opposite the beach, you can see the rocky island of Gramvoussa. On top of this island lies a steep Venetian castle with a gorgeous view of the region and the sea.
