Start with pickup from a meeting point in central Thera and head to the port. As you sail away from Athinios, listen to live commentary.
The first port of call is Nea Kameni, the site of an active volcano. Here, you can choose to hike up to the crater. Admire views of the surroundings from a unique vantage point. Continue to Palea Kameni, famous for its therapeutic hot springs. A dip here if you wish.
Arrive at the island of Thirasia and explore the area at your own pace, discovering the idyllic streets and scenic views. Choose to take an optional trip to Manolas via a traditional donkey ride or by navigating its spiral staircases for an authentic Greek experience.
Afterward, return to the original starting point.

This tour involves a moderate amount of walking. If you take part in the volcano hike, some walking will be on uneven surfaces
At the hot springs, non-confident swimmers can stay on the boat. The boat is equipped with life jackets that are only provided in case of emergency
The stop at the hot springs is limited to 30 minutes due to restrictions by the port authorities
The hike to the volcano is optional and is done without a guide. You are responsible for your safety at all times

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
