EU citizens aged 0-25 are entitled to free admission, however, they must to wait in line to show ID card or passport
Children up to the age of 5, from non-EU countries, are entitled to have free admission tickets upon presentation of their passport for verification of their age and country of origin
From April 1 to October 31 non-EU citizens, between 6 to 25 years old, upon presentation of their passport, are entitled to 50% reduced admission
From April 1 to October 31 senior citizens over 65 from Greece or other EU states and are entitled to 50% reduced admission
An Android (version 5.0 and later) or iOS smartphone is required; the audio tour is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 5/5C or older, iPod Touch 5th generation or older, iPad 4th generation or older, iPad Mini 1st generation. You will need storage space on your phone (100-150 MB)
The tour of the Knossos Palace begins just after the entrance to the archaeological site of Knossos, just a 20-minute drive from the city of Heraklion. You will drive along Ethnikis Antistaseos Avenue, which later gives way to Knossos Avenue for about 5 km. You will continue straight ahead until you reach Dedalou Street, where you will find the entrance of the archaeological site. Even though you do not have a car, the easiest way is to get the bus. Take the bus 2 from Eleftherias Square, the station is located in front of the Capsis Astoria Hotel, or from the central bus station of Heraklion. The tour ends at the theater which is inside the archaeological site, not far from the entrance.
The self-guided audio tour for the city of Heraklion is designed to start at the entrance of Koules which is located at the old harbor of the city. The easiest way to get there is on foot. The tour ends at Jesus Gates located in Evans Street.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
