Every stone, every temple, tells stories of athletes who challenged their own limits in the name of honor and glory. During the guided tour at the archaeological site of Olympia we will talk about the Olympic Games, their history and importance. We will talk about myths and legends and visit the athletes' training grounds, the sacred site of Olympia with the imposing temple of Zeus that housed the chryselephantine statue of Zeus, and the temple of Hera where the Olympic flame is lit to begin the games.
