A great excursion for any visitor to Chania is the mini-cruise to Gramvousa and Balos!
The Balos lagoon is located approximately 56km north-west of Chania city and is situated between the Vouxa cape and the Platiskinos mountain. You'll be able to enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches Crete has to offer, with its white sand and turquoise waters.
At the top of the island of Gramvousa, you can also explore the old 16th century Venetian castle which was a pirate base in the 19th century, and on the side of it you can see an old ship-wreck.
Your day starts when we pick you up with our bus and head towards Kissamos port.
Your escort will collect your money and provide you your boat tickets helping you skip the line.
Your departure from the port will be around 10:30 and you will sail for approximately 1 hour untill you reach the Balos beach and then you will sail for Gramvousa island (or vice versa depending on the itinerary of the boat which you will be informed beforehands by our tour-leader)
During your cruise you will be able to see the majestic Tersanas cave which is said to be an ancient shipyard.
Additionally you will be able to see the geological formations that are formed on the stunning cliffs of the Vouxa Cape.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
