Enjoy a private 8-9 hour private trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Delphi from Athens. Access the Temple of Apollo, Athena Pronaia, Tholos, the Castalian Spring, and Delphi’s Archaeological Museum with a knowledgeable local driver.
Leave Athens in the morning via the national highway and pass by the towns of Thebes, Levadia and Arachova. Arrive in Delphi and visit the Castalia Spring and the main archaeological site, including the Temple of Apollo, the Treasury of the Athenians, the Stadium, and more.
Next, enjoy lunch in a traditional Greek restaurant in the picturesque town of Delphi. Recharge your batteries with delicious local cuisine, and ponder over the visit to the archeological site.
After lunch, stop to see the ruins of the Temple of Athena Pronea and Tholos.
Drive down Mount Parnassos and stop again at Cheronia to see the famous “Lion of Cheronia." The “Lion” is a marble monument erected in the battlefield by Phillip, King of Macedonia and father of Alexander the Great, to commemorate his victory there against the Athenian and Thebean armies in 338 B.C.

Pick up time can be scheduled according to your preference. Please make your request, and you will be contacted after your booking is made. You will be picked up from your accommodation in Athens or Piraeus. Please provide the exact address.
Your driver will be waiting for you outside your accommodation at the scheduled pickup time
If the requested pickup location is in a pedestrian zone or is it not accessible by cars/vehicles, an alternative pick up location will be provided.
Please be outside 5-10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
The driver will be holding a sign with your last name on it.
Drivers will wait no longer than 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
