Assin Manso Slave River site happens to be the last place where slaves are bathed and walking to cape coast and Elmina Castles. At the river site, tourists are allowed to go through or experience the bathing of their ancestors, pray to them to guide you, protect you and ask for forgiveness of those who perpetrated the injustice on them.
We will then move to Cape Coast Castle to listen to the main history behind Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, what the slaves went through and so on. Finally we will end it at the Kakam national park where you can hike through the Kakum forest to walk on the canopy walkway and back to your pick up point.
