Known for its glaciers, Schneeferner and Höllentalferner, it features a ski resort and a historic cogwheel train, which has climbed through a tunnel inside the mountain since 1926. Garmisch-Partenkirchen, an important town along transalpine trade routes since Roman times, lies at its base. Climbed for the first time in 1820, Zugspitze now offers stunning views across the Alps, reaching Austria and Italy on clear days. Please note that transportation, including the train from Munich to Garmisch and mountain transport, is not included.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
