Beyond the garden is Schwabing and the University of Munich to visit the the scene of great tragedy and triumph, then on to the King’s Square (Königsplatz) and the Gallery Quarter.

We return in time for the Carillon, a Beer Hall, or climb St. Peter’s Church Tower.

The Black Forest borders France, where we can do a round-trip from Munich in a few days, taking in the Schwarzwald, Baden-Baden, Strasbourg, Colmar and Lake Constance (Bodensee).
