Enjoy the palace from the outside at the beginning with a 17th century love story that explains the beginning of Nymphenburg Palace and the further Baroque additions by the Wittelsbach Electors. The current use of the castle, which is over 600 meters wide, is also exciting.
In the castle itself, we marvel at the Stone Hall, which was the ceremonial hall of the castle. Then the rooms of the Elector, the rooms of the Electress, the galleries and the apartment of the Queen incl. the Gallery of Beauties of King Ludwig I and the Birth Room of King Ludwig II.

Afterwards, we will discover the Marstall Museum, which is one of the most important of its kind in the world due to its rich collection. The stable building once housed the precious riding horses, carriages and sleighs of the Wittelsbach family during the summer months.
With over forty representative carriages and sleighs, the museum documents three hundred years of princely carriage-building and travel and riding culture. The highlights of the museum are the coronation carriage of Emperor Karl VII. - one of the most beautiful state carriages in the French rococo style - and the gala carriages and sleighs of King Ludwig II.
