Go on an architectural and judicial history journey through the building of the former Imperial Court of Justice. The Imperial Court of Justice was founded in 1879 as the supreme court of the German Reich and the representative building was built for this purpose. It reflects the judicial tradition both inside and out. Karl Liebknecht defended himself here against accusations of high treason and in 1933 the[nbsp]Reichstag Fire Trial took place. Since 2002, the building has housed the Federal Administrative Court (BVerwG). The tasks and work of the BVerwG are vividly presented on our guided tour. The Federal Administrative Court is the highest administrative court in the Federal Republic of Germany. It rules on disputes in the field of administrative law.
