The romantic old city of Heidelberg and the famed spa town of Baden-Baden form the setting for this day trip across southeastern Germany. See the remains of a famous Renaissance castle, explore the enchanting woodland of the Black Forest, and get a firsthand look at the region's iconic sights.
Your day starts with a ride south to Heidelberg, a picturesque city on the river Neckar. Tour the famous Heidelberg Castle for a look at the long courtyard, the mighty terrace, and one of the largest wine barrels in the world. Then, take a walk in the city's medieval town center to marvel at the Old Bridge, Karl's Gate, the Church of the Holy Spirit, and the House of the Knights, as well as the oldest university in Germany.
In the afternoon, your tour continues to Baden-Baden, one of Europe's most beautiful health resorts and best-preserved spas. When you arrive, pay a visit to the elegant Kurhaus, where you can check out the immaculate gardens and parks around the stylish casino.
Next, take a tour through the enchanting coniferous woods of the Black Forest and visit the Mummelsee, a glacial lake among the mountains that was left behind by the last Ice Age. Take some free time to relax amid this beautiful scenery and check out the locally crafted cuckoo clocks, which carry on a tradition that began here in the woods, before you set out for the return trip north to Frankfurt.

Take note: this tour operates with a minimum of 4 passengers, however adding up the bookings from all of the customers (this means, you can also send your booking for only 1-3 people).
Pickup from the hotel in Frankfurt needs to be requested via email (bookings@ets-frankfurt.de) or phone (++49 69 271010) 2 days prior to the tour service and needs confirmation.
The pickup is approx. 45 minutes prior to the tour departure time from your hotel at the reception. The cost of the pickup service is 10.00 Euro per person and each way is to be paid on the spot.

The number of visitors is limited to reduce crowds
You are required to bring and wear a mask
You must present either proof of full vaccination, proof of a Covid-19 infection in the past 6 months, or a negative test taken no more than 24 hours before the activity starts

Meet your guide and board the bus at the bus stop in front of the Le Meridien Hotel. Check-in at least 5 minutes before the tour's start time.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
