Description

The tour encompasses major sights concerning the revolutions of 1905-1907, February and October revolutions in Tbilisi
We decided to do this tour because we are passionate about our gorgeous city and history especially about the little-known revolutionary period from 1900-1921 where the most exciting history resides. Our revolutionary Tbilisi tour is the only tour of its kind you'll find! Most visitors don't know that Georgia was the site of the most successful social democratic movement in the Russian Empire that paved forth a different path than.

We are going to see the following sights - Tiflis Spiritual Seminary, Tiflis City Hall, The Viceroy's Palace, Alexander's Park and the Stone dedicated to the fallen heroes of the revolutions. For additional costs, the tour can be extended to the Underground Illegal Printing Press.

Tour offers deep and complex understanding of socioeconomic events in late Tsarist Caucasus. We will talk about how the revolutionary groups have emerged in Georgia and then divided in two big factions - Bolsheviks and Mensheviks. We will discuss how their policies and approaches varied and what were the consequences of such policies.

We offer the history that is not easily accessible online - not with Wikipedia and not with a couple of google searches. The contents of the tour were drawn from different, sometimes opposing, sources. The history that many even in Georgia don't know and is at risk of being forgotten.
