Join a 2-day adventure through the Caucasus Mountains. Explore the Jinvali Water Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, and Gudauri Ski Resort. Spend the night in Kazbegi or Gudauri and enjoy free time to explore the area at your own pace.
Day 1: Tbilisi to Kazbegi (or Gudauri in Winter)
Meet your guide at the Radisson Blu main entrance at 8:15 AM. Depart promptly at 8:30 AM from the Big Bicycle Monument, just 100 meters from Radisson Blu.
Stop at a supermarket for a coffee or a quick breakfast if you missed it at the hotel. Marvel at the serene beauty of Jinvali Water Reservoir, where you pause for 15 minutes to soak in the views.
Explore the historic Ananuri Fortress, spending approximately 1 hour discovering its rich history. Have free any tasting and Enjoy lunch with an optional summer activity of rafting (additional $50 USD cash, paid directly to local providers).
Arrive at Gudauri Ski Resort, where activities vary by season. In summer, visit the Gudauri Friendship Monument, or try paragliding or quattro tours. In winter, experience skiing, snowmobiling, or winter paragliding. Spend about 2 hours here.
If weather permits, continue to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda Village). Opt for a 4WD ride to Gergeti Trinity Church at sunset (20 GEL/7 USD per person). Alternatively, you can visit the church independently on Day 2.
Overnight in Kazbegi (summer) or Gudauri (winter) to maximize your experience.
Day 2: Explore at Your Own Pace
Spend the day immersing yourself in the breathtaking mountain scenery. Enjoy free time to hike or explore Kazbegi until the designated departure times:
Summer: Departure from Rooms Hotel Kazbegi at 7 PM.
Winter: Pickup from Gudauri at approximately 6 PM.
Return to Tbilisi:
Winter: Arrive back in Tbilisi around 9 PM.
Summer: Return at approximately 11 PM.

In winter, road closures due to heavy snow may prevent reaching Kazbegi. If this occurs, additional time will be spent in Gudauri.
Rafting is available as an optional summer activity for an additional $50 USD, paid directly to local providers.
4WD ride to Gergeti Trinity Church costs 20 GEL/7 USD per person, payable on site.
Recommended to book a hotel in Kazbegi (summer) or Gudauri (winter) for overnight stay.
Your host will meet you at the entrance of the Radisson Blu, easily recognizable by their red scarves.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
