After the pick-up from your hotel in the morning, your trip will start, head for the heart of the champagne region Épernay where you will start with a guided tour of Moët & Chandon (or similar champagne house), a prestigious French winery and Champagne house that produces Dom Pérignon. Learn about the history of its namesake and have a chance to sip some fine vintage champagne.
Later stroll along the avenue de champagne towards your minivan while the guide tells you about a few other well-known houses around you and the champagne cellars below you. Visit a small local winery and meet the people behind the production of this great drink. Have a chance to taste their elegant and exclusive product and hear about the history of their champagne estate. Stop in the village where the monk who invented champagne lived.
This wonderful tour will eventually bring you to the table where you will have a chance to discover local gastronomy, savor a 3-course lunch at a local restaurant afterwards visit the producer where more than 80 farmers work hard to make an amazing selection of sparkling wines designed for special occasions.
