This tour aims at keeping alive, through generations, the memory of the soldiers who fought in the terrible Battle of Normandy that started on June 6th, 1944.
I'll pick you up at 7:00am from your hotel. After driving 1h30, we'll make a coffee stop. We'll drive another 1h30 to the 1rst site.
- Pointe du Hoc & the Ranger Monument. One of the most impressive sites with bomb craters and bunkers to be explored.
- Omaha Beach. It is possible to walk on the beach if you wish and the tide allows it.
- Normandy American Cemetery.
- Lunch in Port-en-Bessin, a fishing village.
- Longues-sur-Mer artillery battery and its original guns.
- Artificial harbor in Arromanches, built by the Allies.
Return to drop you off at your hotel or accommodation.
