Nestled between the sea and the mountains, this privileged place has been inhabited since prehistoric times.

We will start with the old town, the heart of Nice and its narrow streets, its famous flower market with a thousand colors and perfumes, we will climb to the site of the old castle which protected the city in the Middle Ages. We will make a stop at the Russian Orthodox Saint Nicolas Cathedral which is one of the largest in Europe.

Then we will end at the Roman site of Cemenelum. Today it is a park full of olive trees with Roman ruins and a coliseum where families from Nice come on Sundays to picnic and play pétanque. We will share a "traditional picnic" with local specialties and if you are interested, I will offer you an introduction to this national sport.
