Discover the stunning wine region of Bordeaux on a guided tour. Visit wineries to learn about production and taste local wines before heading to the vineyards of the Medieval village of Saint-Emilion.
The tour leaves at 1.30pm from the Bordeaux Tourist Office; it gives you the opportunity to discover different types of châteaux and taste the colors of the wines according to the wine region. During the travel the guide will present the organisation of the Bordeaux wine and gives a lot of information. You will stop in 2 wine estates (around 1h15 at each), visit the technical part with the oak barrels, the vats, learn about the wine process, the seasons, the varieties etc .At the end of each visit you will enjoy the tasting of two wines of the property with the advises about the steps of art of the tasting (the quantity is limited by the French law).
On Sunday the destination is Saint-Emilion, one of the most famous place in the world for wine and heritage. You will follow your guide in the Saint-Emilion village to admire some of the old remarkable buidings and go into the amazing underground church; the second part of the afternoon includes the visit of a wine estate and tasting of 2 wines.
On the way back to Bordeaux the guide can answer to questions or give advises. You arrive in Bordeaux around 6/6.30pm.
