Don’t miss the chance to ski in beautiful Pello village, located in a picturesque valley near to the Swedish border. This full day tour provides you with a professional instructor and professional equipment.
This tour is suitable for beginners and experienced skiers and freeriders. The season at Pello works from January to April. The resort maintains a variety of routes, including the gentle and soft slopes for beginners. There are many downhill skiing options in the River Tornio Valley that are suited for all levels of ability. The slopes of Ritavaara are ideal for beginners and families with small children but also for advanced skiers.
You will be provided with a day ski-pass with access to all slopes. Pello has its own special atmosphere. The developed infrastructure of ropeways and long duration of the winter season will let skiers of any level enjoy the amazing slopes.
The winter sports center is located about 7 km out of Pello in the direction of Rovaniemi. Pello is home to five downhill slopes ranging from 800 to 1,000 meters in length. The vertical drop of these slopes is about 120 meters. The center also includes the Snowpark™ and a slope suitable for children. Equipment is included. The slopes observe a low-temperature limit of -20 °C.

The meeting point will be at Local Tour Operator's Office, Maakuntakatu 29-31, 96200 Rovaniemi: the meeting time is 15-minutes before the starting time of the tour (pick-up can be provided if the customer is further than 1km radius from office in Rovaniemi).
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
