You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 AM by a representative to tour the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest significant stone building. It was constructed for King Zoser in the third dynasty. Next travel to Dahshur to visit the Bent Pyramid and enter the Red Pyramid, the world's oldest standing pyramid (the most preserved pyramid). After that, go to Memphis, which King Menes established and which served as Egypt's first capital for more than three thousand years, to see the statue of Ramses II and the city's marble Sphinx. Memphis was created and served as Egypt's capital during the Old Kingdom.
