Explore the Cotopaxi National Park by horseback riding and going through volcanic rock ravines, several Historical Haciendas, and indigenous communities in a full-day trip from Quito.
Our guide will pick you up at 7:00 a.m. to go to "El Pedregal", located in the Southeast of Quito, among the Rumiñahui, Pasochoa, Sincholagua, and Cotopaxi volcanoes! Once you arrive at a traditional hacienda of the Andes, you have the opportunity to wear typical costumes of the Ecuadorian Chagra. After 2 and a half -hours of horseback riding you will visit the Limpiopungo Lagoon. Take a short hike in the surroundings of Limpiopungo Valley before driving ever-higher into this sky-high region, stopping at the 15,800-feet (4830-meter) Padre Rivas Refuge. (optional hike). You will experience different landscapes, either choosing a long tour going through different mountains or a simple tour on roads going through the forest and communities. Return to Quito.
