Enjoy a full day in and around Otavalo, a deep connection to the indigenous culture and natural beauty of Ecuador. Our tour begins from Quito. Before entering Otavalo we will make a brief stop at a cookie factory to taste this delicious traditional sandwich made in a wood-fired oven. The trip will first take you to Peguche, a well-known sacred waterfall where traditional rituals are performed to this day. This stop is optional, not included in the Itinerary.

Our adventure continues through the Plaza de Ponchos in Otavalo, the largest and most colorful indigenous market in South America. Explore the incredible textures of traditional crafts, handmade textiles, ceramics, jewelry and more. Interact with local artisans, who will be happy to show you their skills and share stories about their creations. Cuicocha Lagoon, a volcanic crater filled with crystal clear, light blue waters. You will enjoy a panoramic walk along the lake shore where you will see stunning views of the Cotacachi and Imbabura volcanoes.
