Description
Experience Japanese drum, Wadaiko for everyone.
Professional performers will give you an Amazing Wadaiko performance.
Put on traditional Japanese happi at the end and finish the song together.
Meet at Kyoto Station for a 10-minute train ride, followed by an 10-minute ride in the Taiko Studio’s private car to the venue.
First, you’ll get a brief explanation of Taiko’s history, showing its importance in Japanese culture.
Next, you’ll try simple calligraphy, writing your wishes on a Hachimaki (a traditional Japanese headband).
You’ll then watch an amazing powerful Taiko demonstration by a professional player.
After that, a friendly instructor will teach you the basic movements and techniques of Taiko drumming.
Finally, you’ll play a simple piece of music with your fellow participants. It will be a wonderful memory in Japan.
The experience ends with a commemorative photo in traditional Japanese costume, including a Happi and Hachimaki.

Please be at the meeting place 10 minutes prior to the start time. Please note that due to the program, if you are late for the start time, you will not be able to participate even if you call us.
This experience starts at JR Kyoto Station and end at JR Takatsuki Station, which is about 12 minutes from JR Kyoto Station. Your guide will put you on the train to Kyoto.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
