Description
Sulfur mines are rocks created by the cooling of sulfur gases through long volcanic pipes. In Trillizos Volcano we descend 105 meters underground with rappelling equipment and walk to the surface.
We left in the morning with our transportation and headed to the first sulfur mines tour where we arrived at the entrance and walked about 2k until we reached the site where the volcano erupted and the fumarole that originated at the site can still be seen.

The interesting thing about this site, being completely clear, is that it allows us to observe the crater of the Sierra Negra volcano and clearly observe the crater of the sulfur mines volcano.
After observing the flora and fauna of the site, we head to the triplet volcano tour where we descend 105 meters deep until we reach the volcanic craters and observe the eruption, lichens and quartz that highlight the site and its views that give privilege to the crater.
