This full-day diving adventure offers the unique opportunity to explore two world-class dive sites, each with its own distinct charm and marine life. Perfect for intermediate and advanced divers, this tour combines the beauty of Catalina Island with the thrill of discovering its vibrant underwater world.
Tour Overview
Catalina Island, located off the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, is renowned for its spectacular dive sites and pristine marine environments. Our 2 Tanks, 2 Spots tour allows you to experience two of the most popular diving spots in the region: The Wall and The Aquarium. Both locations offer exceptional visibility, stunning coral formations, and an abundance of marine life, making this an ideal diving experience for those looking to explore the hidden wonders of the Caribbean.
For those new to scuba diving, we offer a special training program. The day before the dive, you will receive personalized training in a swimming pool with one of our expert instructors. This session, available for an additional fee of $50, will prepare you for your first dive adventure. Once you’re comfortable, you’ll dive to a depth of 20 to 30 feet the next day, exploring Catalina Island’s underwater beauty without the need for prior certification.
1. Dive at The Wall
Your first dive of the day will take place at The Wall, a renowned dive site that offers an exhilarating descent into the depths of the ocean. The Wall is a dramatic vertical drop that starts at around 15 feet and plunges down to depths of over 100 feet. As you descend along the coral-covered wall, you’ll be surrounded by vibrant marine life, including schools of tropical fish, sea turtles, and occasional reef sharks.
2. Dive at The Aquarium
The second dive of the day takes you to The Aquarium, a shallow dive site known for its colorful coral gardens and incredible biodiversity. At depths ranging from 15 to 40 feet, this spot is ideal for observing the rich marine life of the Caribbean up close. You’ll encounter an array of exotic fish, such as angelfish, parrotfish, and trumpetfish, as well as moray eels, lobsters, and stingrays. The calm, clear waters and lively reef ecosystem make this dive both relaxing and awe-inspiring.
3. Catalina Island’s Pristine Beauty
Beyond the underwater wonders, Catalina Island itself is a tropical paradise. Between dives, you’ll have the chance to relax on the island’s soft white sand beaches, swim in the turquoise waters, and soak up the sun. The island’s tranquil atmosphere provides the perfect backdrop for a day of diving and relaxation.
